Climbing to new heights on a bold olfactory adventure
Platinum reveals a new side of Montblanc Explorer with a modern take on woods, evoking the ascension of an adventurer into the mountains. An olfactory adventure created by renowned perfumers Bruno Jovanovic, Nathalie Lorson and Fabrice Pellegrin, the telluric force of the rock is expressed by a signature scent built around noble woods, enlivened by a breath of vibrant Cypress and airy crispy accord, articulating a bold and refined masculinity.
The new Eau de Parfum opens in the most vibrant way with sparkling and crispy green notes of Grapefruit, Violet Leaves and Clary Sage essence, intensified by an airy note that delivers a crystalline freshness reminiscent of snow and ice. The intensity of Alaska Cedarwood and an accord of elegant ambery notes creates a textural woodiness leaning toward the brighter side of moss combined with an accord of musky woody notes that brings richness to the fragrance.

The Mont Blanc Mountain
Mont Blanc, French for ‘white mountain’ is the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe rising 15,774 feet above sea level. It’s located on the French-Italian border and is wildly popular for outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, climbing and trail running. You can discover the stunning beauty of the mountain by riding the cable car that ascends and crosses the mountain range from Courmayeur to Chamonix. Or you can drive through the Mont Blanc Tunnel, constructed between 1957 and 1965, which runs beneath the mountain and is a major transalpine transport route.

Montblanc is a German manufacturer and distributor of luxury goods, founded in Berlin in 1906, and currently based in Hamburg. New campaign visual by photographer Mathieu César captures the awe that comes from experiencing the power of nature and the beauty of snowy peaks rising before the Explorer in the sunlight. The campaign, shot in the Italian Dolomites and partly in the Messner Museum, is as much about the explorer, deeply moved and inspired by the mountainous landscapes, as it is about the exhilarating wilderness that surrounds him.

Dedicated to traditional mountaineering and offering unique views of the impressive mountain walls of the Dolomites and the Alps, it is a place where the futuristic architecture of Zaha Hadid meets the majestic summits. In the film, model Rein Langeveld, the Explorer hero ultimately lives by Montblanc’s mantra: What Moves You Makes You.
