Italy’s next great niche perfume brand Mine Perfume Lab has officially launched in Canada at four select Hudson’s Bay stores and online at thebay.com This is the first time the buzzworthy fragrance company has expanded beyond Italy and it was worth the wait. This is a truly unique and special company.

Every Mine Perfume Lab fragrance is handmade in Naples, Italy, under the shadow of the majestic Mount Vesuvius. Throughout Italy you will find numerous small artisanal businesses, which produce products of superior quality, away from the requirements of mass industrial production. Many are family-run companies that employ multi-generational craftspeople who design products with a typically Italian elegance. At Mine Perfume Lab, the ingredients are mixed at the moment the product is packed and wrapped in its shop. This guarantees the highest intensity and persistence of the fragrances both for him and her.

On the Mine Perfume Lab bottle is affixed a personalized label and each bottle is accompanied by a handwritten dedication.

Mine Perfume Lab founder, Max Annunziata

Mine Perfume Lab is the brainchild of Max Annunziata who handcrafts each fragrance with a small team in Naples. What he’s done is take the same skill and expertise of Italian tailors and artisans and expressed it through fragrance handmaking each scent with care, empathy and passion. Having studied the art of perfumery thoroughly experimenting again and again with essential oils, he finally succeeded with a batch of bottles in 2017. He soon opened Mine Perfume Labs’ doors that year for scent aficionados. “The meaning of beauty is giving value to people and objects because, for me, it saves and resurrects the world,” he says.
