Last month, Scent Lodge founder Nicholas Krikorian hosted a VIP fragrance dinner in Toronto to officially launch the new Versace fragrance Dylan Purple in Canada.
Twenty followers won an invite to a VIP dinner at Restoration Hardware Café where they enjoyed cocktails, a fragrance talk about national scent expert Melanie Caplan, a gourmet dinner and took home a bottle of the gorgeous fruity-floral fragrance for her. It blends notes of Italian citrus, pear, purple freesia and smooth woods. It was a wonderful time to see our wonderful Twitter friends and share a passion for scent. It was so successful, we’re busy planning another one for the fall. Here are some of our favourite photos from the special evening.
Olfactory expert Melanie Caplan brought the fragrance to life with her insider stories on how purple is Donatella Versace’s favourite colour and how purple freesia can have a slightly peppery facet.

Dylan Purple will be a fragrance staple in my collection. I’m still wearing my dash of purple which was a silk scarf knotted to my purse as of a reminder of this magically evening.
