This week, we’ve handpicked the award -winning Versace Eros eau de toilette 50 ml to give away to one lucky Scent Lodge newsletter subscriber.
Versace Eros is a fresh citrus-woody scent that has won numerous awards around the world. It’s a top 10 men’s scent in countries around the globe appealing to guys of all backgrounds, styles and ages. The scent blends notes of mint oil, green apple, Italian lemon, tonka bean (smells like vanilla), ambroxan, geranium flower, Atlas Cedar, Madagascar vanilla and oakmoss. It was created by perfumer Aurelien Guichard.
You can see Donatella Versace’s attention to detail on the bottle. The heavy glass flacon features the medusa emblem and the greek key design. Donatella chose this shade of blue to reflect the Mediterranean Sea. Even the cap features a gold Medusa detail. It’s the perfect Father’s Day gift.
We gave away a bottle of the award-winning Versace Eros Eau de Toilette 50 ml to one lucky newsletter subscriber. To enter, we asked readers to tell us in a blog post comment below the best fragrance tip they’ve ever learned. Sara A told us and we drew her name from all entries.
Versace Eros is available in Canada at shoppersdrugmart.ca , sephora.ca and thebay.com

The best fragrance tip I have learned is to test new fragrances before noon and only test 3 – also spritzing some fragrance on your hairbrush and run it through your hair for longer lasting scent

Put some Vaseline on areas you spritz perfume and it will last longer!! @sproch66

@DaveLackie taught me to store perfume bottles upside down (if I’m not using them) to keep the gasket from drying out & also to keep the perfume in the refrigerator if I’m not using them (Covid & 15 months of mandatory masking in Los Angeles)… My Spicebomb lives upside down in the corner of my refrigerator door shelf. 😉
I would LOVE to try VERSACE EROS because it has so many scents I love; cedar, tonka bean, lemon, vanilla. WOW! @PeconicLady

Eros is so fresh-smelling. No wonder it’s one of the top 10 fragrances that are sold around the world. The beautiful blue bottle reminds me of the ocean. My best fragrance tip is to wait 20 minutes before committing to a fragrance purchase and don’t rub your wrist together! Thank you ScentLodge for all of your tips, tricks, giveaways and most of all your digital newsletter @959angela

Jocelyn PaprockiAugust 1, 2021 at 7:44 pm
I learned to spray perfume on my wrist, wait 20 minutes, and if I still like it, then I should buy it.
Stephanie DAugust 1, 2021 at 6:24 pm
The best fragrance tip I got was to NOT rub my wrists together as this can actually alter the scent & make it not last as long! @steph0755
Susan T.August 1, 2021 at 6:20 pm
I’ve learned not to be limited by gendered designations of scents. Anybody can wear any scent they like! I actually love Eros for myself!
