I prefer the scent but having a sturdy bottle is always great. I like to display my fragrances on a pretty tray I have on my dresser. I like bottles that are not tippy and ones that stand sturdy. Thanks gor the chance!

A pretty bottle is always nice especially for gifting but for me I just want a bottle that sprays well and it is all about the scent.

Fragrance bottle design and packaging is important to me. The visual look of the bottle design is incredibly important as the first impression. After it catches my eye, than juice matters, if I make a purchase. It’s about the fragrance, but I bought perfume just for a bottle, like Very Good Girl(because I like red stiletto πŸ‘ πŸ˜‰)
Thanks for a chance to win this sexy Eros!
I love the bottle with Medusa, which screams Versace!

I honestly don’t care what the bottle looks like. Some of the fancier and heavier bottles are slippery to use in a damp bathroom if you have moisturizer residue on your hands …or they are too tall and top heavy/tippy (looking at you Kenzo) which is a danger if you have a cat in the house. A clean-looking, clear or perhaps slightly tinted, fluid in a simple bottle looks more modern imho.

I love a good bottle, but if the fragrance isn’t up to snuff it’s not enough to get me to buy it! @ellstar

I love bottle designs. I have bought a scent I wasn’t particularly fond of just for the bottle. @Redlizzy1

The bottle is what draws me to the fragrance. The scent is very important, but it must be in a well-designed bottle!

I believe the bottle design is important, although IF I did not care for the scent of the fragrance, it would not sway me to make a purchase. And when I like the fragrance, I enjoy the fragrance even better when the bottle design is unique and complimentary to the name and scent of the fragrance. @ldystetson101

I’m torn on whether it really does matter, but in the end it’s ALL about loving the fragrance.

I wouldn’t buy a fragrance that I didn’t like, but I might not buy a fragrance if I hated the bottle (unless I utterly adored the fragrance, which would override everything!). I do think packaging is very important, as it speaks to the aspirational nature of fragrance. I have styles of bottles which I prefer or which I would avoid, and these likes/dislikes are part of what I see as my style.

It’s a beautiful designed bottle but honestly the scent inside is more important for me and if I love it I’ll go for it no matter how the bottle looks like, of course that Versace never disappoints πŸ˜‰πŸ₯°

The most important to me is the shape and colour of the bottle then the packaging, then the scent.

While I’m drawn to a beautiful bottle, it’s the scent inside that really matters. Fingers crossed for this one. I just got a sample from Sephora for hubby, and it is such a beautiful scent. Thanks

I think the visual appearance of the bottle is as important as the fragrance because it gives you the invitation to your daily fragrance personality.

Packaging is irrelevant, it’s ALL about the scent. If there’s a beautiful bottle (for example Chanel’s Coco de Mademoiselle) but it doesn’t suit my body chemistry, it doesn’t matter. I do love beautiful bottles, but I don’t collect them… Versace EROS is a wonderful scent for me (green apple, tonka bean with vanilla) & the bottle is beautiful. I had no idea that the blue was the color of the Mediterranean Sea, but now that you mention it, the bottle is the same color as the sea. Thanks, Dave! @PeconicLady

Personally for me I like the way a bottle looks cause it adds a lot to the scent itself. It makes it seem larger then life and more intense or subtle depending on the fragrance.
