Versace’s Red Jeans returns…
Sometimes persistence wins in the world of perfumery. Such is the case with one of Versace’s most popular fragrances of the 1990s. The sexy fruity-floral for her debuted in 1994 and was an overnight sensation. Perfumer Jean-Pierre Bethouart skillfully blended fruit notes of peach, apricot and black currant with freesia, violet and water lily. A hint of musk and vanilla completed the composition. It was a scent you’d smell at every nightclub on a Friday or Saturday night. And while the fragrance was produced in small amounts in Europe, it disappeared from store counters in North America. Until now. Thanks to customer demand, the fragrance is back. It’s as good today as it was in 1994.
