Roman luxury brand Bvlgari has quietly launched one of the most innovative and truly fun fragrance concepts of the year: Allegra. Perfumer Jacques Cavallier blended five prestige fragrances for her inspired by Italian emotions and lifestyle. What he did next is truly exciting. He composed five Magnifying essences that can be used with any fragrance to create a custom scent. He chose: vanilla, bergamot, musk, patchouli and rose for his magnifying themes.

Now, the concept of developing single note fragrances and “enhancers” isn’t new in perfumery. But creating a magnifying fragrance that can be worn on its own or paired with another scent is cutting edge. Jacques five Magnifying essences were created using traditional fragrance structures so each has longevity and clarity. They stand as fine fragrances themselves.

Cavallier says it is all about enhancing emotion using olfactory senses.
